Friends of Kingston Museum & Heritage Service

The Friends organise an annual lecture programme, help with volunteers, fund raising and developing special projects. This year they launched a new community photographic competition.

Kingston upon Thames Archaeological Society

The Society has a programme of lectures and outings, monitors planning applications, and engages in archaeological processing and publication.

Kingston Tour Guides

The Guides conduct walks of the Kingston Town Centre and of Surbiton. They can also schedule talks.

Friends of Richmond Park

The Friends organise walks and events to enable people to learn about and enjoy the unique environment of Richmond Park's ancient oaks, acid grassland, and bird, beetle, moth and fungi populations.

The Hearsum Collection

The Hearsum Collection collects and preserves the unique heritage of Richmond Park, the largest of London’s Royal Parks, for all to enjoy. It has a diverse range of heritage material covering the last four centuries, with some 5000 items including antique prints, paintings, maps, postcards, photographs, documents, books and press cuttings.

The Richmond Society

The Society works to preserve and enhance the natural and built environments of the borough through meetings, campaigning, guided walks and an awards programme.

Civic Voice

Civic Voice is a national voice for local groups across the country.

Surbiton and District Historical Society

The Society has a programme of lectures, meetings and visits to sites of historical interest. It has access to a local history library.

Thames Landscape Strategy

The TLS aims to bring people together to inform strategic policy and to implement a broad range of projects and management proposals to conserve, enhance and promote for the future the River Thames between Hampton and Kew.
